These terms govern your use of the A Meias website. By visiting or interacting with this site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. What A Meias is

A Meias is a creative hub - a name that a group of independent authors, directors, technicians, and other creatives work under. It is not a company, it is not a legal entity, and it does not employ anyone.

This site is a place to see their work and to reach them. Any engagement that follows is agreed directly with the individual people involved, who each work and invoice on their own account. A Meias is not a party to those arrangements, does not contract on anyone's behalf, and does not act as an agent, employer, or placement service.

2. Intellectual property

Copyright in the work shown here belongs to the people who created it - its authors, performers, and producers - and it is shown on this site with their permission. Where a work has several contributors, rights may be shared between them. The site's own text, design, and layout belong to Afonso Dias Nunes.

You may view the site and share links to it freely. You may not copy, republish, redistribute, or commercially exploit any of the content without permission from whoever holds the rights in it.

3. People featured here

The people shown in Figures of Speech appear with their agreement, and works in Anthology are published with the agreement of those involved in making them.

If you are featured on this site and want your name, photograph, biography, or work changed or taken down, write to ameias.geral@gmail.com. It will be done promptly, and you do not need to give a reason.

4. Acceptable use

When using this site, you agree not to:

• Scrape or systematically extract content from the site
• Use automated tools to download images, video, or other media
• Misrepresent the source of content (for example, by removing attribution)
• Attempt to disrupt the site, its hosting infrastructure, or other users

5. Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is". Reasonable efforts are made to keep it accurate and available, but there is no guarantee that it will always be free of errors, interruptions, or security issues. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Afonso Dias Nunes is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

Nothing on this site is an offer, a quote, or a commitment to provide any service, and no responsibility is accepted for work agreed directly between you and any individual featured here.

6. Third-party services

The Let's Work Together page links out to third-party services used for communication - for example, Instagram, WhatsApp, and a scheduling tool. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply when you use them.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent Portuguese courts.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. When they are, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept them.
